Hallelujah!
Starting today, we will not only transcribe the Book of Job but also meditate on its message together. People
often think of Job as simply “a story about a righteous man suffering.” Because of this, many view the Book of
Job as a story of suffering or a passage that provides answers about suffering. However, suffering is not actually
the main theme of Job. The book does not provide a clear answer to the problem of suffering. While it is true
that Job’s story begins with him experiencing immense suffering, the Book of Job is not merely a story about
suffering—it is, in fact, a book of wisdom.
